Digital Fine Art is slowly becoming accepted in mainstream art circles. In the summer of 2000, the Chicago Museum of Art had their first Digital Art exhibition. Much like early photography, digital art has had it's share of bad PR. It's not as simple as pressing a button labeled "Make Art." The computer is a tool and sometimes the final medium, like the painter's brush and canvas.
